Once I started full-time work in Sydney the diary promptly stopped. I was back in the daily grind. It wasn't quite the same daily grind as it was back in the UK as I was still a backpacker (I was on a working holiday visa) and there were 5 of us sharing a two bed flat. Two of the girls in the flat - or unit as we say here in Oz - worked as bar maids in a North Sydney pub which made it incredibly easy to get a beer on a Friday night.
My diary took a hiatus until early Jan when we hit the road again - but at some point between Sep and Jan I must have just dumped my brain with the names of everyone I met in Sydney and the things I did. It's one long sentence that covers about 12 pages, in a completely random order. There are people named that I don't even recall. There's not much point in just copying it out again in the blog but I think I'll break it into topics and add to the blog between now and January. What'll be in there ? How about :
